- One year's access to our on-line Forum where you can discuss topics of interest
Each lesson follows an established four step pattern designed to help you learn the theory and apply it to your situation in real time:
Scenario Observations. A question and answer approach is used to discover different ways of handling the conflict.
Insight. Reflect on the approach you would normally take in this type of situation and what else you could do that would result in a better outcome for you.
Experiment. Formulate a short-term goal specific to your needs. Make it clear, realistic and achievable. The idea here is to try an alternative, however small the step may be. Remember, this is to help you in you life so we help you craft the step you can take. It should be a step outside your comfort zone but not so far outside that it prevents you from even trying to achieve it.
Journal. After you have had an opportunity to try out your alternative approach, complete a reflective journal entry where you record your observations, experiences reflections, analysis and learning. While all steps in the process are important, the Journal is the most beneficial to you in helping you integrate what you have learned. The size of the step is not important. What is important is that you take the step.
